All ride plates are made in the USA from genuine 356-A aircraft aluminum, and come natural aluminum in color. The "V" bottom surface is numerous times machined and edges are racing tuned. All intake grates come with a fine grained sanded surface. And the Original Avant-Garde "V" Bottom Design, is protected by a rare United States Patent "RE: 35,351", (that's only 35,351 since 1790).
